The Gambia

In October I visited the Gambia. After a week a get enough of Fatou, so I continued with Lucy (Sierra Leone). She is manager in a restaurant and a very nice woman.

The day I came back in Holland I felt homesick already, so 2 days later I had to order a ticket for the Gambia again, the second of December I will be there, for 3 weeks this time.

The Gambia

Yesterday I visited Nitana (45, Surinam). She just came back from the Gambia. Brian (35, Surinam) also was in Nitana's place. From the 1rst of January 2005 all the 3 of us put 50 Euro every month on a bank account, this enough to buy within a year a piece of land (size 50x60m) in the Gambia. 1 year later the first house can be built there.

October the 3rd

October the 3rd, traditionally the city of Leiden celebrates the deliberation from the Spanish a couple of years ago. This year, because October the 3rd was a Sunday, the celebration started the 2nd and took until the 4th. Saturday I went with Nitana to the celebration: we did have a nice time in the cafes with live music (pics will follow). I also had to give her some presents for Fatou, because Nitana will be visiting the Gambia next week. I hope my Kenyan-ex girlfriend will not discover, because she will kill me: in that case it is better that I leave Holland with my Dominican girlfriend (Sue) to Brasil or something.

What can I say...I live in a backward village now...don't know about life anymore...so I started to read 'The complete idiot's guide to fucking'.

The village

Yesterday I went to the beach. Next to a grain of sand, there was a grain of sand. Next to that grain of sand, there was a grain of sand. Next to that grain of sand, there was a grain of sand. Next to that grain of sand, there was a grain of sand. Next to that grain of sand, there was a grain of sand.....
